The pay at Coca Cola is not terrible, especially considering the education requirements for some roles. The problem is how long the days stretch. Twelve hours or more becomes normal, not an exception, and over time that eats into everything outside of work. You start measuring your life in shifts instead of days off, and that is where work life balance really takes a hit.
