Citi's health insurance has one potential advantge - premiums are based on total comp, which may make coverage more affordable for lower-paid employees. Some employees are seeing modest increases for 2027, I know someonw who is paying only $10 more per month for family coverage. But, there is always a but... others see premium increases of 30% to 40% or more, despite corp suggesting an increase of only 3%. Moving into a higher comp bracket may do this to you... And... the biggest issue is affordability. I know someone who's $1300 per month ($16K per yr) for family medical coverage, excluding dental and vision, while coverage through their spouse's employer reportedly costs $20 per month ($2.6K annually). That's a $13K annual difference, although the coverage is notidentical. Citi's compensation based pricing may benefit lower earners and that's ok, but for others, it can and will reduce the value of raises and bonuses. The question is whether Citi's benefits remain competitive when employees are paying this much out of pocket.
Forcing salaried employees back into the office for three full days a week was a terrible idea. My team used to put in 11+ hours when needed to finish projects. Now we make a point of attending every pointless town hall, think tank, and other random meeting Citi sends out to 200+ people. We also show up at least 30 minutes late, take the full hour for lunch, and leave an hour early. Good luck with that, Citi.
I've been working in India for about six months now, and it feels like I'm regularly putting in 12+ hours to sync with teams in the US. What are the standard work hours for employees here? How do we handle overlap with Manila?
this signals a dangerous shift for cnotractors at ea.
I've been back in the office at Gresham since early September, three days a week. What are the specific requirements for this return to office policy? Do they apply regardless of whether my role was home-based when hired?
