Last month in Mumbai, i got an update on my 401k plan. Was talking with a colleague about the match. After three years, you have to be vested to see any real benefit. Sounds good on paper but in practice, it's frustrating when you realize how many years you have to put in before you get anything substantial. I've been here over a year and it already feels like a long wait to get what's promised. This whole thing makes me question how much the cmopany actually values long-term commitment. The benefits might look great from a distance, but they start to lose shine when you dig deeper. It's tough to plan for the future when your options feel so limited. I know a few others share this feeling, but it's starting to wear on me day by day.
