I was chatting with a co-worker at Woodland Park yesterday about the 401k changes. They mentioned how frustrating it is that we only get matched once a year now instead of with every paycheck. It really changes how we plan our finances, and not in a good way. It's odd because I remember when the matching was a real selling point for joining BNY Mellon. Now it feels like one more thing that makes us less competitive with other companies, especially when a lot of folks are looking at their options these days.
