a reminder about applying in budapest

There was a moment in the Budapest office last week where the atmosphere shifted immediately after a team discussion. Someone mentioned how things had changed here over the past year, and it caught everyone off guard. We were having our usual catch-up in the main conference room on a Wednesday morning when the topic drifted to recruiting and the current team structure. A senior manager pointed out that applicants need to be very careful about their decision to join now. The technical skills of the team are high, including the ED and MD, which adds pressure on everyone. It felt like an unofficial warning, as if the room was suddenly aware of the stakes involved. There wasn't much more said after that, just a shared glance of acknowledgment among us. The meeting ended shortly after, but the uncertainty lingered in the air as we walked out the door.
