Got pulled into a team meeting last week over at the Stockholm office. We were discussing projects and someone brought up a promotion path that was going to take longer than expected. i asked how long we'd need to wait for steps to even get a s^ot at advancement. A senior teammate just looked at me and said 'it's a bureaucratic maze here.' Just like that, the energy dropped. Everyone seemed to nod, but no one pushed back. It's wild how it felt like a joke, but also just plain sad. I've been here years, and seeing the same frustrations and knowing that nothing changes is just draining.
