Employees are expected to work excessively long hours

I was wrapping up my shift last Friday in Nashville, and my manager mentioned that if I knew what I was doing, I could finish my route in 8 to 10 hours. I took that as a challenge since I was already clocking in closer to 12 hours most days, just trying to keep up with the demands. It felt like no matter how efficiently I worked, there was always more piled on my plate. The thing is, I think a lot of us are stretching ourselves thin just to meet those expectations. I've seen teammates come in on their days off to catch up, which isn't sustainable. It's hard to keep morale up when we're all just pushing to survive.
