Supervisors are generally available for questions and field coaching, especially early on. You’re not totally left alone. But the job itself is extremely physical, and mentorship doesn’t really prepare you for how worn down you’ll feel after months of nonstop labor. Coaching helps you survive the job, not necessarily grow beyond it.
