I actually like my job most days. Work life balance is solid, nobody is breathing down your neck, cafeteria food is decent enough. But man the constant layoff talk is exhausting. Half of it feels like panic coming from insecure people, half of it feels like management not saying anything at all. When there’s not a lot of projects going on, rumors just explode. Hard to focus when every week someone says “heard something from a friend of a friend”
