I loved my team and the work itself was exciting. Cool products, good energy, people actually cared. But when layoffs hit, it felt so corporate and distant. Just meetings, emails, restructures, no human side at all. It’s like all that “we’re a family” talk disappears instantly. Hard not to feel disposable after that.
