Management Culture Issues Aren't Going Away

Been hearing a lot lately about how toxic management culture is really taking a toll on our teams. Just a couple of weeks ago, I was in a meeting where multiple people expressed frustration with how our managers handle feedback. The vibe was more about avoiding conflict than actually improving our work. One colleague mentioned feeling sidelined during a project because their input was dismissed by their lead, who seemed more focused on covering their own bases than supporting the team. We've got many managers who've not been trained to lead effectively, which ends up creating a culture of fear rather than collaboration. It's exhausting when you have to worry about how your ideas will be received or whether they'll just get shut down. Seems like the same story keeps popping up, with employees feeling drained and unsupported, all while internal politics just complicate things further. If we don't address this soon, I worry about how it's going to affect our productivity and morale moving forward.
