management doesn't acknowledge effort

In a recent meeting, my manager pointed out a task I completed, but it was clear he was more focused on the quarterly numbers than my hard work. It felt like the hours I put in, staying late to meet deadlines, didn't matter at all. I watched him scroll through a report, barely looking up to acknowledge what I had done, as if it was just another checkbox for him to mark off. This happens all the time, and it's frustrating when BK seems to only care about results without seeing the effort behind them. It's not just me. I've seen others go through the same thing - rushing to deliver on projects while management stays fixated on metrics.
