I watched three customers get frustrated when they couldn't get help because we were short-staffed yet again. It was just a Tuesday afternoon at the New York branch, and the lines were piilng up fast. I was on a shift that had us running between cash duties and answering questions, but there just weren't enough of us on the floor to handle the demand. Came from corporate: the rule to keep staffing low, ignoring that branches like ours cant keep up with numbers from Spain. I had to help one elderly customer leave without assistance because I was stuck with the line. Just a mess.
