Tbh lately, it started spilling into side conversations. I keep hearing different takes on base pay. It feels like different teams are operating off different assumptions. I’m fine with change when it’s explained, but this one felt like it landed without context. I’ve started keeping notes from meetings just so I don’t misremember what was said. Has anyone found a good way to bring up base pay in a 1:1 without it turning into a defensive conversation?
