Poor management and bad communication are prevalent

There was a weekly check-in on our Chicago team. Management laid out expectations that felt totally unrealistic, especially for the mobile software projects we were handling. Everyone looked confused, and you could see the frustration on people's faces as we tried to figure out how to meet goals that didn't make sense. We all felt the strses building up with impossible deadlines. It just made our day-to-day work harder and morale took a hit. Few of us really believed any of those targets were achievable.
