I walked into the office last week to find a new memo taped up in the break room. It stated that flexi week is no longer an option starting this quarter, effective immediately. My shift is usually four days a week, so this feels like a push towards mandatory attendance that nobody asked for. Rumors say this is meant to boost team cohesion, but all it's done is stress people out about schedules. Not sure how tightening the reins is supposed to help anyone. Seems like another top-down move that misses the mark.
