The return to office policy is frustrating for many employees

I was in a team meeting last week in Westlake when a manager reminded us of the RTO policy. He mentioned some employees are flying back to Dallas just to meet compliance. It felt surreal to hear that, knowing how many of us are struggling with the shift back to in-person work. I've been with the BU for over three years and have never faced this kind of pressure. While some locations seem to have more flexibility, it feels like we're being pushed to conform to a one-size-fits-all model. The mood in the room was tense, and you could see the frustration written on everyone's faces. After the meeting, I spoke with a few teammates who felt the same way but didn't know how to voice it. It's hard to focus on our work when there's so much uncertainty about where we need to be. I left that meeting thinking about how this policy just isn't working for us anymore.
