Training Feels More Like an Afterthought Than a Process

Training is extremely minimal for most roles. You watch onboarding videos, mostly focused on safety and compliance, and then you’re sent out into the field. The people you shadow usually aren’t trained to train. They’re just trying to finish their day. There’s little structure, almost no follow-up, and promised check-ins rarely happen. When mistakes occur, it’s treated like a performance issue rather than a training failure. New hires aren’t being set up to succeed.
