Quick question it became a bigger topic than I expected. there’s been more hallway chatter about merit raises. It feels like different teams are operating off different assumptions. I don’t mind hard work; I mind confusion and rework. I’m fine with change when it’s explained, but this one felt like it landed without context. Has anyone had luck asking “what should I stop doing” when merit raises creates new work?
