One thing I didn’t expect was vacation time being offered to part time employees. That actually felt like a big step in the right direction. Incentives are pretty easy to hit and the company has a family owned feel despite being so big. The downside is the work itself gets repetitive fast, and the warehouse environment can be brutal in the summer when it heats up. Still, having PTO even as part time makes the job feel less disposable.
