Vacation Time Looks Good on Paper, Until You Actually Try Using It

On paper, the vacation policy sounds fair. Part-time employees getting time off is a step forward, and technically the option exists for most roles. The issue is how inconsistent it feels once you actually try to use it. One request gets approved without hesitation, another gets stalled or denied with vague reasoning. Planning anything ahead of time becomes stressful because you never really know if your time off will stick. Add in long hours and physically demanding work, and the vacation you do get feels more like recovery time than an actual break.
