How PwC is organized

Each PwC firm is its own legal entity. The firms are members of, or linked to, PricewaterhouseCoopers International Limited (PwCIL), a private company limited by guarantee under English law. PwCIL coordinates strategy, brand, and risk and quality across the firms but does no client work itself. In the year ended June 30, 2025, the Americas produced US$25,574 million of gross revenues, EMEA US$22,548 million and Asia Pacific US$8,846 million. Asia Pacific was the only region to shrink, down 4.1% in local currency.

Workforce and hiring patterns

LCA filings across the five US entities rose from 1,211 in calendar 2023 to 1,620 in 2024, then dropped to 1,286 in 2025, about 21% lower. PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLC submitted 870 of the 2025 filings. Each of the other four filed between 35 and 139: PwC US Tax LLP, PwC US Consulting LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and PwC US Business Advisory LLP.

The US firm's H-1B lottery policy, as posted on October 13, 2026, says it does not intend to hire entry-level or experienced candidates who will need lottery sponsorship now or later. Listed exceptions include the Chinese, Japanese and Korean Business Networks plus named Advisory, Audit and Tax teams. Most experienced staff work a hybrid model that averages 50% in person and 50% virtual over a year.

Good to know before you apply

  • Most entry-level applications trigger an emailed online assessment within hours. Your application counts only once it is done.
  • Assurance and Tax candidates usually have two back-to-back live virtual interviews, one behavioral and one scenario-based. Most Advisory roles add a case interview.
  • AI tools are not allowed during the assessment or the interviews.
  • Entry-level hires must live within commuting distance of their assigned office and spend an average of 50% of their time at a client site or PwC office.
  • Ask in the threads below how your future team splits office, client and home days.
