A woman came through the drive-thru in Sydney last week. She ordered a Big Mac meal but was clearly in a hurry. When I handed her the bag, she snapped at me, saying it was taking too long. I tried to keep it cool, but she was relentless, yelling that she had places to be. It was just a regular busy lunch shift, and I was trying to keep everyone moving. I felt bad for the other customers waiting behind her, but I also knew I couldn't let her get to me. I understand the pressure people feel, especially at lunchtime. But it's exhausting when you're just trying to do your job. Everyone has their own issues, and sometimes they take it out on us. It's hard to remember that we're all in this together, even when it doesn't feel like it. tl;dr: some customers don't realize we're just doing our best.
