Going public ruined the culture

Unity was once indie-dev friendly and engineering-driven. Since going public, the company is all about short-term stock gains. Original engineers are gone, leadership is filled with non-technical business people, and communication has become a “yes-man” echo chamber. Management punishes dissent, internal Slack is censored, and transparency is basically dead. Great work if you’re trying to pad your resume, but long-term career growth? Forget it.
