we had a busy Saturday shift at the store. mid-morning, a few of us gathered by the register. one employee asked about next week's schedule. nobody had seen it yet. then someone checked the management board, and it was blank. the assistant manager walked by and said the DM hadn't sent the schedule out. we just stood there looking at each other, wondering if we'd even know when to come in. the DM usually checks the schedule monthly, but apparently not this time. later, i just wrote my own schedule on a sticky note and taped it to the board. thought it might help. tl;dr: management forgot to post the schedule for next week.
