Got laid off earlier this year and the severance convo felt like they were making it up as they went. HR read from a script but couldn’t answer a single real question. Pretty sure they didn’t even know what teams were being cut until the morning of. Whole thing was cold as he^l too. No appreciation, nothing. Just “thanks and bye”.
