a manager in a meeting called out a junior analyst for not meeting a deadline, in front of everyone. said they'd have to 'work overtime to catch up' despite the analyst already pulling 60 hours a week. this was in the Singapore office, during my shift last year. the atmosphere was tense and uncomfortable, no one spoke up. after that, a few of us started to avoid that manager altogether.
