Unity’s culture is amazing… if your manager actually gets you

I love my coworkers at Unity, brilliant, funny, smart people. The CEO and execs are accessible and genuinely nice. BUT management is a mixed bag. You can do amazing work, but if you end up with a manager who doesn’t “get” you, your career can basically stall. Seen some insanely talented people locked out of internal moves because their manager didn’t vibe with them. It’s a shame, because you’d think a company like this would protect talent, not punish it for bad luck.
