What Bank of America does

Bank of America reports four business segments in its fiscal 2025 10-K: Consumer Banking, Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM), Global Banking and Global Markets. Everything else sits in All Other. At December 31, 2025, the retail network had about 3,600 financial centers, about 15,000 ATMs and about 49 million active digital users. Headquarters are the Corporate Center on North Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina. Headcount was about 213,000 at both December 31, 2025 and December 31, 2024. Of the 2025 total, 77% worked in the US.

After that come Vice President; Feature Lead - Technology (65), Vice President; Software Engineer II (28), Officer; Tech Analyst Program (28), Senior Vice President; Senior Technology Manager (24) and Vice President; Quantitative Finance Analyst (24). Each filed title opens with a rank, such as Associate, Officer, Assistant Vice President, Vice President, Senior Vice President or Director. The 2025 filings list 209 distinct title strings. Workforce and hiring patterns

At December 31, 2025, 77% of employees were in the US, against 78% a year earlier. The company says it hired over 18,000 people in 2025, and more than 14,000 employees moved to new roles internally that year. Its careers site cites a five-year commitment to hire 8,000 people from community colleges and 10,000 veterans (viewed October 13, 2026).

LCA filings under the two entities rose from 535 in calendar 2023 to 618 in 2024 and 725 in 2025. These are filings, not hires. A WARN notice filed in New York on March 19, 2026 lists 170 employees in Elma, effective June 24, 2026.
