The fiscal 2025 10-K names four reportable operating segments: Consumer Banking and Lending, Commercial Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, and Wealth and Investment Management. Its principal executive office is at 333 Market Street in San Francisco, California. Loans totaled $986.2 billion and deposits about $1.4 trillion at December 31, 2025. At the same date, the principal subsidiary, Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., held $1.8 trillion in assets, or 85% of the company total. The company counted about 205,000 active employees at December 31, 2025. About 76% of them were based in the US and about 24% in other countries.

The 10-K property table at December 31, 2025 puts the largest occupied US space in the Charlotte metro area, at about 5.3 million square feet. Job titles and levels you will see

Lead Software Engineer appears 146 times in the calendar 2025 LCAs, and Senior Software Engineer 117 times. Further down the 2025 list, Lead Specialty Software Engineer has 32 filings and Principal Engineer 24. Quantitative analytics titles recur through that year's list. Quantitative Analytics Specialist appears 25 times, Quantitative Analytics Program Associate 22 times, Senior Quantitative Analytics Specialist 19 times and Lead Securities Quantitative Analytics Specialist 18 times. Most of these 2025 titles carry a Senior, Lead or Principal prefix. On October 13, 2026, the careers site sorted openings into 14 career areas, including Technology, Data & Analytics, and Investments & Trading.

Workforce and hiring patterns

LCA filings under Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. rose from 540 in calendar 2023 to 544 in 2024 and 606 in 2025. The 2025 total was about 11% above 2024.
